Marla received her undergraduate degree in Finance from Arizona State University in December 1992 and her law degree from Gonzaga University in May 1997. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, Marla’s practice emphasized family law and guardian ad litem work. She continues to practice in these areas as well as other areas of civil litigation in both Washington and Idaho. Marla is a member of the Washington Women Lawyers and serves as a Commissioner Pro Tem for Spokane County Superior Court. She is also a member of the Junior League of Spokane and was a big sister for Big Brothers and Big Sisters Organization of Spokane from 1996 to 2004. She is licensed to practice in both Washington and Idaho.
